Twenty years ago, when we began this journey, the concept of a truly global women’s club didn’t exist. In Europe and Asia there were a few women’s clubs, but most operated within men’s networks like Rotary or BOSS Club. In the United States there were more clubs, yet none were genuinely global. We set out to change that—building a borderless club: a global hub where businesswomen from every culture can connect, collaborate and grow.

We also tackled a vital challenge: the need for broad international ties. Most existing women’s clubs were too local, lacking the scale and resources for meaningful global business engagement. From day one, our aim was to create a club of clubs—a place where individual women and entire local clubs could join forces, accelerate global interaction and forge powerful international alliances.

A hundred years ago, women were denied basic rights—owning property, accessing education. Today, we have fought for equality and achieved it. Now it’s time to claim our rightful place on the global business stage. We must grow as leaders and entrepreneurs so our voices are heard worldwide. The world is full of challenges—wars, crises, pandemics—that demand we unite to solve them. Only together can we ensure women’s voices shape the future.

Over the past 18 years, the World Woman Club has opened 35 offices across countries, launched countless educational and mentoring programmes, hosted hundreds of international forums, and helped our members found new companies. We have donated millions of dollars to charity and built a powerful global platform for collaboration among women leaders—resulting in thousands of success stories across our community.
